Naskar Ceramic as a manufacturing unit was established in 1998 under technical guidance of several reputed ceramic experts. This unit produces varieties of oxide and non-oxide ceramic items for R&D and manufacturing organizations. The materials include, oxides like, pure alumina, high alumina, ZTA, zirconia, fused silica, magnesia, mullite, etc. and non-oxides like, reaction bonded silicon nitride (RBSN) dense silicon nitride, sialon bonded, reaction bonded silicon carbide, silicon carbide, graphite, moly-disilicide and many other.
The unit also offers its R&D facilities to other research organizations.
Naskar Ceramic has a dedicated R&D unit for development of materials and components of market requirement. The existing unit produces ceramic items upto 600 mm dia x 1000 mm long ceramic items with high precision and of assured quality. Some of the products are Ceramic domes, Tubes, Trays, Crucibles, Special Insulation bricks and Porous & Dense ceramic shapes, Custom tailored products.
Naskar Ceramic is equipped with modern ceramic processing facilities and self made furnaces for sintering the oxide ceramic components in a large scale upto 1800 °C and non-oxide ceramic components upto 2500 °C.
